2. | Drafting of reforms, laws and regulations
GAUVIN | AVOCATS is solicited, both in France and in Africa, for the drafting of legal and regulatory reforms, either within the framework of local think-tanks and projects, or on behalf of States or development banks.
For example, the firm participated in the design of the legal and regulatory framework known as bi-bancarisation, allowing banks from certain non-EU countries to market their banking services in France. One of the objectives of this system is to renew relations between France and Africa by involving the private sector, to a greater extent and in a different way, in the financing of development.
GAUVIN | AVOCATS has worked on the design of financial centers in Africa and South Asia aimed at furthering the economic and social development of local populations.
